I bought 3 park hopper tickets and I know the dates of expiration were extended, but my daughter is now 3 so I will need to buy her a ticket when we can go when the parks open up again. I know there will be a reservation system so how can I buy her ticket

    Hello Courtney!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question!

So far, the Disneyland Resort has announced expiration date extensions for a few different promotional theme park ticket types including Southern California Resident Tickets, Canada Resident Tickets and 2020 Military Salute Tickets. As well as expiration date extensions for some non-promotional single day tickets and wholly unused, non-promotional multi-day tickets. I’m so glad that your ticket type was included in the expiration date extension announcement!

Guests over the age of 3 do require theme park admission. Therefore, you will need to purchase a ticket for your daughter if you’d like for her to join you. And while I’m glad you’re thinking ahead to your future visit, I’m sure you’re aware the Disneyland Resort has not announced an opening date for the theme parks. I can speculate that when the parks do reopen they will utilize a theme park reservation system to manage attendance. If it is similar to the Disney Park Pass system at Walt Disney World Resort then it will require all guests to obtain an advanced reservation for park entry. More details about the Disneyland Resort reservation system will be available closer to theme park reopening.

To stay up to date on the latest announcements related to the Disneyland Resort, make sure to check the Disney Parks Blog on a regular basis. You’ll find breaking news there first!

Thanks so much for bringing your question our way! Please come back to planDisney if you think of any more!
