Hello Kathy,
Welcome, we are so happy you have you as our Guest. Let us pull up a chair as planDisney proudly presents your answer!
Theme Park Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, you can however, always use your existing ticket for an upgrade. It does sound like you are trying to go from a Park Hopper to a 1-park per day ticket, which would be a downgrade in the ticket. You might be able to do so, but would probably not receive
a refund for the price difference.
I do recommend either calling the
Ticket Service line or visiting a Cast Member at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth to see what your options are. I’ve visited the
Disneyland Resort with both, single park admission and a Park Hopper ticket and I can share that Park Hopping will forever be my most favorite option.
Since the theme parks are just a quick walk apart, my family tends to go back and forth often. I remember a few years ago when I was pregnant, with my littlest Mouseketeer, I Park Hopped to Disney California Adventure Park just for ice cream! Park Hopping does have some other perks though, not just treats.
I hope this helps answer your question, Kathy. Please be sure to let us know if there’s anything else we can help with.
