I bought a park hopper ticket for September 14. My starting park is California adventure but I made a reservation for Story tellers cafe at 11:40. Will I be able to enter to that restaurant and go back to California adventure when I’m done?

    Hiya, Lorraine!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR. I'm Kristen, your planEAR today, and it's my pleasure to help a fellow Texan!

This is a great question. Both 1-park-per-day and Park Hopper Theme Park Admission Tickets include unlimited "in and out privileges" for each Disney day of use. While Park Hopping does not start until 1:00 P.M., you're more than welcome to return to your starting theme park after your meal.

Storytellers Cafe is one of my favorite dining locations at all of Disneyland Resort. I especially love that you've booked this Character Dining Reservation during Brunch time, which means you'll be able to find lunchtime staples with the best of breakfast, aka Mickey Waffles. In my experience, this mealtime at this location is kind of like a hidden secret as the restaurant doesn't seem as packed with other people. I'm going to wish for that same level of pixie dust for you and your Mouseketeers, Lorraine!

But probably best of all about this reservation is that since it's located in the corridor of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, you'll be able to access the Disney California Adventure Park side-door turnstiles when it's time to both go to lunch and return back to DCA. This exit and entrance is located across from Grizzly River Run.

Pro Tip: You will need to go back through a security bag check after brunch, of which the theme park side entrance has its own dedicated lanes. If you have any little ones with you and all of their gEAR, you're more than welcome to leave your stroller in the theme park; for sure take your bags with you or leave them in a rented locker, but the stroller will be fine as long as its left in a stroller parking lot. Your best bet for this will be the designated stroller zones for Grizzly River Run.

I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Lorraine! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account where we're sharing all kinds of tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
