I bought a park hopper ticket but when I go on the Disneyland app it says my reservation is for Disneyland. Does it still mean I can go to both parks?

Hi Ray, thanks for stopping by planDisney. You must be excited about your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth in a couple of days!

Great news, you only need a reservation for the first theme park you plan to enter on the day of your visit. Your park reservation is for Disneyland Park so that will be the first park you visit. However, with a park hopper ticket, you can enter either park starting at 11:00 AM, so that is when you can head to Disney California Adventure Park. And, Ray, if you don't arrive at the Disneyland Resort until after 11:00 AM, you may enter either theme park to start your day.

My recommendation is to get to the Disneyland Resort as early as possible. Being there as close to the earliest standard Theme Park opening time is the best for grabbing photos without the crowds, shorter ride wait times, and grabbing your morning coffee without too much of a line! It also means that you'll be ready to hop on over to Disney California Adventure Park sooner, and more time for maximum Disney enjoyment!

Ray, don't forget to check out the Disney California Adventure Food & Festival, which ends April 22. There are delicious snacks at the Festival Booths and you can ride Soarin' Over California during its limited return for the festival. It's one of my favorite events of the year!

I hope this answers your question, Ray. Please swing like Tarzan back by with any others that you may have!

    See you in the parks,
    Melissa
