Hiya Jennifer,
Welcome to planDisney! I bet you are excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I know there are still so many details to plan for your trip, so if there is anything we can do to help, please come back and see us. If I have my math correct, the 60-day reservation window for
advanced dining reservations and
Enchanting Extras is coming on April 30th for your trip, so make sure to mark your calendar and set your alarm for 5:45 AM EST!
Unfortunately, Jennifer, Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets are
nontransferable and nonrefundable, which means you cannot adjust your current tickets. If you have a
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, you may be able to modify your Theme Park tickets through your package, however. If this isn’t the case, you will have to retain the tickets you currently have for your upcoming vacation.
Now I know the Park Hopping rules can take some getting used to but let me share how my family and I navigate them as new parents of an infant. Park hopping is a lot harder than it used to be; we used to be able to squeeze all four Theme Parks in one day and still have time to stop for dinner at a table service restaurant. Now we park hop differently. We like to start our day at our first park and then head back to our resort hotel to enjoy the pool, nap, and grab lunch. Then we head to a different park in the evening to enjoy the nighttime spectacular. It is definitely not the same as trying to fit all four Theme Parks in one day, but the slower pace is a lot more enjoyable.
I’m so sorry I couldn’t give you the answer you were hoping for, Jennifer, but I hope your vacation is still extra magical. Again, if you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
