Hi there, Daniel. Welcome to planDisney!
Theme park ticket purchases are nontransferable and nonrefundable. However, if you purchased your tickets directly through the
Walt Disney World Resort and your plans have changed, you are typically able to apply the amount you paid for your wholly unused tickets to a new purchase. That being said, if the price of the new ticket is higher, you would be required to pay the difference at the time of purchase, and if it is less expensive, you will not receive a refund for the difference.
To see if this is an option for you, select “My Plans and Tickets” under “
My Disney Experience” on the top menu of the website. Then, select “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker” under the “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets” heading. Find the ticket in question and select “Change Ticket” to see if you’d be able to take advantage of this offer. You can also
ask a friendly Cast Member at the resort if it doesn’t appear to be an option, and you want to confirm if you're eligible to make this change.
Daniel, this summer is
Cool Kids’ Summer, and that means not only are there great deals to be had, but also some really amazing offerings to discover around every corner of the resort. For starters, Bluey and Bingo are going to be at Conservation Station at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. You’ve also got Goofy taking over
CommuniCore Hall in
EPCOT, some of your favorite
Toy Story friends at the
Diamond Horseshoe at
Magic Kingdom Park, and
Mickey and Minnie Mouse in a new stage production inspired by
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse at
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And let’s not forget the reimaginings of
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin,
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run,
Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, and
Soarin’ Across America. Be sure to follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog for exact opening dates and more details!
Daniel, enjoy your summer visit to the resort.
Please come back with any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
Today is a good day to try,
Matt
