I bought the 1 park 1 day CA resident ticket. I’d like to switch the name of my ticket to my wife’s name and my other child. How do I do this?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Jenny!

Whether for convenience in remembering which ticket belongs to whom in your party or to ensure that the name linked to a promotional ticket such as the 2025 Southern California Resident Ticket offer matches the government-issued ID used to verify residency, it can be helpful to change the name associated with tickets stored in your My Disneyland account. To request such changes, you may call the Tickets phone support number or chat with a Cast Member using the "Chat with Us" feature in the Disneyland mobile app.

An important thing to keep in mind about using Disneyland Resort theme park tickets is that once they are activated by using them to enter a theme park, they become nontransferable. From that point on, only the Guest who first uses a ticket and has their photo digitally attached to it at the park entrance may use it again for park re-entry, Lightning Lane redemption, or to return to use another day of a multi-day ticket afterward. Therefore, a relatively minor thing such as a typo in the name linked to a ticket usually won't matter.

Speaking of promotional tickets, if you want to continue the magic beyond the end of the recent limited-time ticket offer for Southern California residents, I'm excited that the Disneyland Resort has a new ticket offer to enjoy the celebration of Disneyland Resort's 70th anniversary. I'm especially thrilled to experience the Paint the Night parade. And I can't wait for the July 17, 2025, debut of experiences like a new verse in the "it's a small world" attraction and "Walt Disney – A Magical Life."

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Jenny!
