Happiest Greetings on Earth, Jovin! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with such a wonderful question. I'm happy to get you some answers so that you can keep planning your next visit to Disneyland Resort.
One day at Disneyland Resort is sure to be full of magic, wonder, and discovery! I'm so glad you'll have a chance to experience it, soon! When you purchased your
1-day Ticket, you likely selected your visit date and secured your
theme park reservation for that day in the same process. These 1-day Tickets are priced according to their
Tier with a set of corresponding blockout dates on which they are not eligible to be used. As long as your new (changed) date is NOT included on the list of blockout dates for your original ticket Tier, then you should be good to go ahead and modify your theme park reservation to your new date.
If your new date does happen to be blocked out from your 1-day Ticket Tier, then you would need to request an upgrade to your ticket by calling the
Tickets line and speaking with a Cast Member. You can also request a ticket upgrade when you arrive at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booths, but this process will cancel your original park reservation, and if those reservations are in limited supply on a popular weekend, you may have a difficult time securing a new one. For this reason, I always like to suggest that Guests request assistance from a friendly Cast Member by phone, ahead of time.
I do hope this has been some useful advice, Jovin. Most of all, I wish you unforgettable, magical memories whenever you can arrange your next Disneyland Resort visit. It is 'The Happiest Place on Earth,' after all! If we can help with anything else, I invite you to come back to
planDisney and share any other questions that come up in the meantime. We'd love to see you again!
Warm wishes,
Tishra
