I bought a one day tier 3 ticket TO 1 PARK. I went to the ticket booth and upgraded to one day tier 5 PARK HOPPER ticket. However, when I made a reservation for a Sunday, it only gave me the option to choose an all day. Will I still be able to park hop?

Hello there, Cassie. Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question for us. I’m so glad you were able to upgrade your Tier 3 One-Park ticket to Park Hoppers. I recently visited the Happiest Place on Earth with my family. We enjoy the flexibility of park hopping and being able to experience the magic and pixie-dusted fun at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day.

Now that Disneyland Resort theme parks have reopened after such a long closure, I bet you’re excited to return to a land of Magic in about a week! I just visited the Happiest Place on Earth with my family and we were blown away by the immersive Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park; some of the must-do’s that I recommend are the interactive Character Experiences, delicious new food and beverage offerings, seeing “The Amazing Spider-Man” fly through the air high above the Campus.

When you look on your Disneyland mobile app or on, it will say “All Day” with the starting park listed under it when you access your Theme Park Reservations. (I’m not fully sure why it says “all day” when that really is the first park you start with.) However, to fully ensure you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can click on the three short horizontal lines on the lower right-hand corner on the Disneyland mobile app, then click “Tickets and Passes” on the upper left-hand corner. Your current ticket will be displayed. You will be able to see whether you have a Park Hopper or One Park Per Day ticket. And don’t forget, you’re able to hop to the other park at 1 PM! You can also use this barcode to scan for entry into the parks.

I hope this information is helpful for you. As you continue your trip planning process, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again if you have further questions. We’re all EARS!

    Have a magical day,
