    We bought a MYW package for this spring, staying at the Contemporary. We've been talking about arriving a few days earlier and staying at a value resort (seperate reservation). Can we start using the base tickets that are included in our MYW package?

    Hi Beth, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel!

    Disney's Contemporary Resort is one my favorite resorts, as it features my favorite restaurant (California Grill) and guests can enjoy a really short walk to and from the Magic Kingdom.

    I understand that you can coordinate to have your park tickets ready to pick up at your earlier resort reservation or at any ticket center.
    Still, you need to contact a Disney Cast Member to try to link both reservations and to have your tickets ready before your Magic Your Way reservation starts.

    Also, many changes will continue to develop as My Magic+ continues to be implemented on all resorts and parks.  This new service will provide a new way to enjoy your vacations at Walt Disney World.

    I recommend calling (407) 939-5277 to ask a Disney Cast Member to help you coordinate all your plans and to confirm what is the best way to receive your park tickets.

    Remember that all park tickets must be used within 14 days of first park visit.
