I bought 6 Military salute tickets.1person in our party(nonmilitary)will be arriving a couple of days later. Will we be able to activate our 5 tickets first and start using them and activate his ticket when he arrives by showing our military id?

    Hi Suhaill,

The short answer is, yes. You and your party arriving early can activate your tickets and begin using them. Once the other member of your party arrives his ticket can be activated. To activate his ticket, either the service member or spouse will need to be with him. Both of you will need to show ID: his personal ID, and either your military ID or your dependent ID Card (DD Form 1173).

A cast member will ask for the service member's name, birth date, base where assigned, and email address. You can activate tickets at Downtown Disney Guest Relations, as well as at Guest Relations in all of the parks and water parks.

Hope this helps. Thank you for your service, and have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
