Smile, Andrea! You're headed to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and you're going to make so many magical memories; purchasing
Memory Maker is a great way to be sure you capture those moments to look back on for years to come!
Andrea, when you purchase Memory Maker in advance and link it to your account, all that's left to do is wait until you're ready to activate the product in your
My Disney Experience mobile app upon your arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort. You can activate the product before visiting a theme park; we actually did this on our trip last month. We visited the
Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs on day 1 of our trip to take some festive Halloween photos in Mickey's Pumpkin Patch, and we were able to activate and download our photos immediately. Once you activate your Memory Maker product, you will be able to
download all photos and media captured within 30 days, including photos and media of any connected guests on your Friends and Family list. We love being able to activate the product at the start of our vacation so we can download and share our vacation in real time with our friends and family back home!
To make the most of your Memory Maker, be sure to ask the photographers about
Magic Shots when you stop to take pictures! They can often add a little extra flair to your memories, and since you're visiting during the
holiday season, there will be lots of festive backgrounds and holiday decor that will make your photos even more magical!
In addition to the Disney PhotoPass Studio in Disney Springs, there is the Royal Portrait Studio inside
Sir Mickey's gift shop in Magic Kingdom Park that offers photo sessions, and in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you'll find a photo opportunity to pose with Cinderella's glass slipper! Keep your eyes peeled for PhotoPass photographers and opportunities at Disney Resort hotels and select dining opportunities, as well. While subject to availability, we have had our memories captured at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, and
Disney's Contemporary Resort, to name a few!
Andrea, I hope this helps and I hope you capture all the magical moments of your vacation this winter! Remember, taking pictures is making memories, and you're sure to do plenty of both!
Keep Smiling,
Alison
