MagicBand+ selections for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Because you ordered them through your
My Disney Experience account, it sounds like you have a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservation. If this is the case, each MagicBand+ will be linked to your reservations. Once your magical mail arrives, you will need to assign each MagicBand+ to a guest in your travel party. First, you will need to power on the MagicBand+ and hold it to the upper section of the back of your smartphone. Next, select the
My Disney Experience Mobile app to begin linking and pairing. If the app doesn't prompt you, you can open it and select the three bars in the lower right corner. Then, select "MagicBands and More" and "Link Your MagicBand or Card." You can then scan the band and select the guest to which you would like to assign the MagicBand+.
For younger guests, you should be able to adjust the size of the MagicBand+ and you might have them try it on before your arrival date to discover the best fit. It's so good that you had each MagicBand+ personalized! It makes it so much easier to keep up with which one belongs to each family member, especially when you have duplicate designs or colors. For each guest in your travel party that will have a MagicBand+, they can manage their preferences through their My Disney Experience account using the mobile app. I would recommend charging all of the MagicBands the night before your arrival and each night of your stay to ensure the battery is all charged up and ready for use each day.
