Hi. We bought magic bands for family. I'd like to purchase their park tickets online/linked and ready to go when we all check into BCV. I want the parents to still be in charge of my 3 year old grandchild. I will use FL discount for my grandchild

    Hey there, Lori!

Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you've stopped by with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! Oh boy... in just a few short weeks, you'll be making special memories with your family at The Most Magical Place on Earth. A lavish stay with your loved ones at Disney's Beach Club Villas sounds divine, Lori! I'd be happy to help you prepare for your fantastic family vacation.

I understand you've purchased MagicBands for your family members and would like to link them to each member of your travel party. To complete this process, first, you'll want to be sure you've added each family member to your Family & Friends List in My Disney Experience. As long as your grandchild's parents were the creators of the child's account, they will remain in charge of the planning for that child. When a Guest creates a My Disney Experience profile for a child, they are the only individuals who can manage the child's account and approve Family & Friends List connections. Therefore, the parents of the child will need to approve your request to connect, if you're not already linked.

Once all accounts have been linked appropriately, next, log into your account on the Walt Disney World Resort website, hover over the My Disney Experience tab, and select "My MagicBands and Cards." Scroll all the way to the bottom of this screen and select "Link" under "Link a MagicBand." You'll be able to enter the ID numbers for up to 10 MagicBands and follow the steps to link each one to Guests in your Family & Friends List!

Lori, when you purchase theme park admission for your family members, you'll link those similarly to how you linked the MagicBands. For each theme park ticket purchased, you'll select a Guest to whom the ticket will be assigned. As long as each family member is connected to you via your Family & Friends List, you should have no problem linking their theme park admission. Then, they'll be able to use their MagicBands to enter the theme parks - just like magic! Lori, remember that any theme park tickets or Annual Passes purchased using a Florida resident offer require verification of Florida residency

I hope you've found these details helpful as you count down the days until your family's grand getaway! If you have any additional planning questions, please feel free to revisit us at planDisney anytime. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
