It looks like a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort getaway is in the works for you and your family - how exciting for you and your family! Personally, I am a fan of the MagicBand+ as we have used them at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and the Disney Cruise Line. The convenience they offer is truly remarkable!

As long as your order is placed via your My Disney Experience account and is associated with your Disney Resort Hotel stay at least 11 days before your arrival, the MagicBands will be shipped to your home. If the order was placed 6-10 days before your scheduled arrival, they will be shipped to your Resort hotel.
