MagicBand+ and Smart Phone

    I bought a magic band +, I can't get it to pair with my phone. Also it won't let me assign it to myself since I already had a magic band, what do I do to take old magic band off?

    Hello Shannon, thank you for bringing your question to planDisney!

    If you purchased your MagicBand+ new, and it was not previously used by another guest, you should be able to link your band by following these steps:

    1. Ensure your MagicBand+ is fully charged.
    2. Press the button on the back in the lower right hand corner to power on your MagicBand+.
    3. Tap your MagicBand+ to the back of your smart device.  Alternatively, you can go to the "Link Your Account" section in your My Disney Experience Mobile App.
    4. Follow the instructions to link to your account and pair with your device.
    If you continue to experience issues, there are other troubleshooting tips you can try or you can contact My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ customer service for one on one support.
