Hello, Gizel,
This has been a difficult time, hasn’t it? We too bought Disneyland Resort tickets in early 2020 and had to wait a long time before we could use them. Even after the theme parks reopened in April 2021, we had to wait until the State of California allowed out-of-state visitors to enjoy time at
The Happiest Place on Earth. I’m sorry you have had to wait even longer than that!
You are correct that the three-day theme park tickets purchased under the limited-time offer to residents of Southern California and Northern Baja California in 2020 had their expiration extended to December of 2021. Except for wholly-unused tickets, these tickets would have both become invalid and lost their value toward upgrading to a different ticket time.
While fully vaccinated visitors from Mexico were permitted to enter California starting in November 2021, it is understandable that travel would not have been practical for everyone at that time. I can’t make any guarantees. But it may be worth reaching out to the Disneyland Resort tickets and information services to inquire about credit from a partially-used 2020 SoCal resident ticket. In some cases, it may be effective to inquire through an
authorized travel agent.
I hope you are able to have your question posed to tickets services answered to your satisfaction, Gizel. And I hope you can enjoy a most magical time at the Disneyland Resort soon.
