I bought our kids annual passes that we will be using for the first time in May. I added the photopass to one of the annual passes. Will I be able to add that to my account since he doesn't have his own?

    Hiya Nancy,

Welcome back to planDisney! We are so excited to continue being part of your planning journey. I hope that your upcoming visit coincides with Cool KIDS’ SUMMER this year because it is gearing up to be an incredible time. Animation Courtyard will be reopening with all-new dance parties and animation experiences. Bluey is bringing the fun over at Animal Kingdom, and I cannot wait to try out Jessie’s Roundup over at Diamond Horseshoe.

But enough about that! Let’s talk about annual passes! Great question, Nancy. I also manage my daughter’s annual pass through My Disney Experience because she is unable to manage her own. With a managed profile, you can edit their profile, set permissions, and approve connections for your child. You can also make plans on their behalf. Now, about Memory Maker, I spoke to a Cast Member, and they said that while you manage your child’s account, it is not recommended to have Memory Maker assigned to a managed account. Luckily, they did tell me that you can re-assign the Memory Maker associated with your child’s annual pass to your own. To do so, log in to your My Disney Experience account using your computer. Then navigate to “My Plans.” On that page, you will see “Nancy’s Plans and Ticket.” Scroll down until you see the header “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets.” Underneath that will be “Daily Itinerary” and “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker.” Click the “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker.” Scroll down, and you will see “Memory Maker Purchases,” and all of the Memory Makers of everyone linked to your account. Find your child’s Memory Maker, and next to it, you should see “Reassign Memory Maker.” Select your name from the drop-down and re-assign it to you.

I hope this was helpful, Nancy. Before I let you go, one last tip about the Memory Maker. Once it is activated, a single Memory Maker can be used to download photos for up to 25 Guests who are linked in the Family and Friends list. The person with the Memory Maker doesn’t even have to be the one presenting their MagicBand+. I hope you have a magical vacation, and please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,
