We bought the hopper tickets for my husband and myself and will be starting our day in AnimL Kingdom. Around 12 we plan to leave AK to go back to the resort for naps for kids. Do we need to be at the next park by 2 pm?

    Hi Courtney!

Welcome to planDisney with an excellent question! Nothing makes us happier than helping fellow Guests plan a magical visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.

One of my favorite things about staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is the proximity to the theme parks and being able to use Disney complimentary transportation to go back to my Disney Resort hotel after lunch for a nap. As the mother of a child and a pre-teen, I feel like we enjoy the parks much better after taking a midday break.

I always add Park Hopper Option to my tickets to visit more than one park per day, and I am happy to share that you can be at the next park you wish to visit any time beginning at 2:00 PM when Park Hopper hours start. My family likes to take long naps and enjoy our Disney Resort hotel pool in the afternoon, so we usually enter our second park for the day at around 5:00 PM. Take your time, rest, and return to the parks when you are ready to continue having fun!

I hope this information is helpful, Courtney. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, we are delighted to help!

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
