I bought "gift tickets" for my sister's family (she lives outside the US). How can I schedule them to go to the same parks as my wife and myself? Thanks!

    Hi Alejandro! Welcome to planDisney.

Well, aren’t you just the best brother in the world! How nice to have purchased those tickets for your sister! I bet she is super appreciative of your kind gesture! It may not seem like it quite yet, but your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here before you know it! So, let’s get you all set up to enjoy a fabulous time with your family!

To start, since you purchased the tickets for your sister, you can simply manage the plans for your entire group via your My Disney Experience account. So, all you’ll need to do is set her up as a member of your Family & Friends List, assign the tickets to her, and set up the Park Pass Reservations on her behalf.

Let’s start by adding her to your Family & Friends list by following these steps:

    • First, log into your My Disney Experience app.
    • Next, open the menu by clicking on the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner.
    • Click on “My Profile” and toggle over to “Family & Friends List.”
    • From there, click on “Add a Guest” and “I’ll enter their name and age.”
    • Finally, you can add each member of your sister’s family individually by adding their information in this section and clicking on the “Add Guest” button at the bottom to submit.

Once you have your party members added, you can then assign the Theme Park Tickets to these Guests.

    • Open the menu again in your My Disney Experience app.
    • Navigate to “Tickets and Passes.”
    • Locate the tickets purchased for your sister’s family, and click on “Reassign Ticket” below.
    • From there, you can assign each ticket to the correct member of your party.

PHEW! Only one more step left, Alejandro! It’s time to make their Park Pass Reservations!

    • Open up the My Disney Experience app and click on the “+” in the middle of the app navigation bar.
    • Click on “Make a Park Reservation.”
    • From there, click on “Theme park Tickets,” and a separate browser window will open.
    • You can then select the members of your party (in this case, you are booking for your Sister’s family, since you mentioned you already have yours reserved), the date of your visit, and the park you would like to reserve (you’ll want to match this with your existing plans).
    • Then, simply follow the prompts to secure your reservation, and you are all set!

And that should do it, Alejandro! Once you’re done, you can view all of your plans in one place by visiting the “Future Plans” section of your My Disney Experience app.

I do hope this answer has been helpful to you! You are visiting during such a wonderful time with so much to do and see at Walt Disney World! So, please visit us again soon if you have any questions or want to hear some of our recommendations. We would love to help make your vacation as magical as possible!

    Until next time,
