Welcome to planDisney, Andrew! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. It sounds like you're all set up for an amazing Disney adventure! I'm glad you reached out with this question, because there are a couple of options to help make your tickets work better with your new stay.
So here's how it works: a standard 4-day ticket is
valid for use within a 7-day window starting from the date you selected when you bought the tickets. While you can absolutely add extra days to your ticket if you'd like to turn it into, say, a 6-day ticket, you cannot extend the original expiration window of your current 4-day tickets. But, don't worry, you may still have another option!
If your tickets are eligible, you may be able to modify the start date so that your valid ticket window lines up with your Resort Hotel stay. To check, hop into the
My Disney Experience app or website, go to "Tickets and Passes," select your ticket, and see if there's an option to "Change Ticket." If so, you can adjust your start date there! Just keep in mind that if the new dates fall into a higher-priced time period, you'll be asked to pay the difference at the time of the change.
If you don't see the option to modify your tickets online, I recommend
calling the ticketing hotline and speaking to a Cast Member to see what options are available for your ticket type.
Have a magical day, Andrew!
