I just bought Florida Resident Silver Annual Passes online for my family for Christmas! Will Magic Bands be automatically mailed to us?

    Hi Michele,

What an awesome gift! We've been Florida Resident Passholders -- with Silver Passes and, before that, the Seasonal Passes -- for almost 20 years, and it's the best present we give ourselves every year.

And hooray for choosing annual passes now because you get 13 months instead of 12 as part of the Walt Disney World 45th anniversary celebration. Plus, there are additional discounts on merchandise and dining available to passholders through September 2017.

Now that you have purchased your Florida Resident passes, you should be able to log into your My Disney Experience account and customize your annual passholder MagicBands. Look under the MagicBands & Cards section. Once you customize, I believe you will be able to submit and have them shipped soon. It's almost time for my renewal, so it's been a while, but if I remember correctly, the MagicBands then arrive within a few days.

I like to add the year to the end of each of our names so that we always know which is our most recent MagicBand. Now that you are passholders, I suspect this will become an annual tradition for you as well.

Thanks for stopping in at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michele. And please come back again any time during your passholder year if you have questions about passholder discounts and benefits or you want recommendations on dining, resorts or any other fun at Walt Disney World. Enjoy!
