I bought Florida Resident 3-day passes to Walt Disney World. I'm trying to reserve days at the park. If I make the reservations, can I change them? And what are the blackout dates for these tickets?

Hi Michael, and welcome to planDisney! It's always a pleasure to help another Sunshine Stater plan a Walt Disney World adventure!

It sounds like you took advantage of the Florida Resident Discover Disney ticket offer. Smart move! It's the best deal Disney offers us Floridians all year, and I'm so glad you had a chance to jump in!

And I'm also glad you're thinking ahead and making your Disney Park Pass reservations for the theme parks you're planning to visit. The only remaining blockout dates on your 3-Day Discover Disney tickets are Memorial Day weekend, May 28-31. After that, you've got a few more weeks of fun, since your tickets are valid through June 18. When you make your Disney Park Pass reservations, you can absolutely change them if you need to adjust your plans, but keep in mind that the only way to do that is to cancel your existing reservations and then make new ones. I'd take a quick look at the Availability Calendar just to make sure there are openings in the park you want to change to before canceling. I'd hate for you to be left without a Park Pass if there aren't any left!

Michael, did you know we Floridians can get discounts on Disney Resorts Collection hotel stays right now, too? Even though my family lives just a quick drive away, we love to plan weekend visits now and then so we can be right in the middle of the magic!

I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney days, Michael. Please stop by again if you have any more questions. We're always here to help!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
