Charles from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I bought five 1-Day Passes for 9/1. I'd like to move our reservations to 9/2 — the availability for that day is grayed out on my account, but NOT grayed out when I'm not logged in. How can I change day of our reservation?

Hey there, Charles! We appreciate you stopping by planDisney with your ticket question. Your visit is coming up soon, so let's help get your question answered!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having to arrange your dates. The reason that you are seeing September 2, 2022, blocked out when you are logged in, but not when you look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, is because your tickets are for a lower-tiered ticket. Your September 1, 2022, is a Tier 1 day and September 2, 2022, is a Tier 4 day. You can upgrade your tickets from Tier 1 to Tier 4. Upgrades can be done at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth. However, I want to make note that you will need to make new theme park reservations and won't be able to do that until you have the new tickets, which can be nerve-wracking to do the day of your visit with the possibility of the reservations booking up. If you have any questions about this you can reach out to Ticket Services.

While I know it's a bummer to have to upgrade your tickets, this may work in your favor because September 2, 2022, is when Halloween time in the parks officially kicks off! You'll be there to see Haunted Mansion reopen to bring us Haunted Mansion Holiday, as well as our favorite characters donning their Halloween costumes.

Charles, I hope this information helps you get your tickets changed and you are ready for a spooky good time at Disneyland Resort!
