Hiya Brandi,
Welcome to planDisney! I love that you got to experience the magic of Walt Disney World Resort with your parents. Mine are actually coming down to visit me soon and spend a day in the theme parks with me, and I cannot wait to spend time together in my favorite place on Earth!
Great question, Brandi! My three-year-old actually has a ticket with one day left, and we were trying to figure out how to use it. Unfortunately, Brandi theme park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Which means that while eligible tickets can be
upgraded to an Annual Pass, the ticket you wish to upgrade must be assigned to you. Put differently, since the 2-day theme park ticket was assigned to your parents, they would potentially be able to upgrade their tickets into Annual Passes for themselves, but you wouldn’t be able to apply the value of their tickets to an Annual Pass for yourself.
I know this probably wasn’t the answer you were hoping for, but I hope that it was still helpful, Brandi. Before I let you go, did you check out the Passholder Buzz on the
My Disney Experience mobile app? They are about to release a
Nick and Judy Passholder magnet at Animal Kingdom starting tomorrow. Along with it, there is a new Passholder-exclusive Carrot Cake Sundae and PhotoPass experience. These are supposed to go through March 15th, so I hope that you can hop on over before they disappear. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
