Hi Julie!
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel and congratulations on joining Disney Vacation Club!
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of our own Home Resorts and I think you'll love this resort — the walkable proximity to Magic Kingdom, the convenience of a Monorail resort, the resort theming and design, and all the shopping and dining at the adjoining Disney’s Contemporary Resort. And of course, Top of the World Lounge is just an absolute gem.
Now, to your question of whether or not your studio accommodations are comfortable for 4 adults for 8 days. Honestly, that answer would really be subjective and would depend on how the 4 of you vacation together. You'll typically have 1 queen-size bed and 1 double-size sleeper sofa. The question, I think, will be — how much personal space will you each want while you are in the room? Every Guest's experiences and preferences will be different. The plus-side to keep in mind is that, while your room layout might feel small, you're gaining all the wonderful conveniences that Bay Lake Tower offers.
One of the great features of
Disney Vacation Club is the flexibility in how best to use your points. For example, after booking your stay, you might want to consider checking back using the online Resort Availability tool to search for other options for your travel dates at Non-Home Resorts. Additional points that might be needed could be acquired through borrowing or through one-time-use Vacation Points. You can use the online Points Chart & Calculator and download the Points Charts to plan all sorts of combinations of different room types and views at different resorts.
Enjoy you Disney!
Jerry
