Bought a Disneyland vacation package (full payment due tomorrow) and also bought Magic Bands but I don't see how I can link the bands. Can I not link them until I get our epackage 4 days before the trip? Thanks!

Hey there, April. Welcome to planDisney and thanks for sharing your question with us. Hooray! Your vacation to the Disneyland Resort is almost here. I love using my MagicBand+ at the parks and am thrilled to help you with yours.

Once your tickets arrive via email four days prior to your arrival date, you can link your tickets in the Disneyland app. After this step is complete, you're ready and able to link each MagicBand+ to their respective tickets. You will tap on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the app and then tap the "MagicBand+" tile. Next tap the "+" in the top right corner. From here you'll have a few different options to link a MagicBand+ to a ticket. Something to keep in mind during setup, each MagicBand+ can only be linked to one ticket or pass. If you encounter any challenges, there are some helpful tips to get you on your way.

There are so many cool features of the MagicBand+. Not only can you use your MagicBand+ for your park entry and to check in at Lightning Lane entrances, but there's also so much more you can do. I love heading over to Batuu to search for bounties throughout the Black Spire Outpost. And you never know who you will run into wandering the marketplace. I ran into the Mandalorian and Grogu - it was quite the sight! When you're ready to go off-planet and return to "the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy" there are several Disney100 Celebration statues that you can interact with by using your MagicBand+. There's a fun giant Mickey statue in Downtown Disney District near the Disneyland Hotel. I also recommend trying to interact with the Disney100 Celebration medallions at night - it's extra magical.

Hopefully this is helpful to you, April. If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth, please come back to ask us (even ask me directly). Until then, I wish you happy planning!
