Hi, I just bought the Disneyland PhotoPass One Week option. Can I not link my photopass to my tickets ahead of our upcoming visit? Or it only works when the first picture is taken at the park and I link my PhotoPass ID to my tickets?

    Hi there, Carrie!

Welcome to planDisney! Family photos taken by Disney PhotoPass Photographers are my favorite keepsakes from trips to Disneyland Resort. As a mom, I am seldom in our family pictures because I am usually the person behind the camera. I love that my entire family can be in the photos taken at Disneyland!

The Disney PhotoPass+ One Week should already be linked to your account if you purchased it while logged into your Disneyland account. This can also be done on the Disneyland mobile app. Select the three bars at the bottom of the homepage and then choose "Link Photos." Under "Link PhotoPass Card", you can scan your purchased Disney PhotoPass+ products to claim them to your account.

I chatted with a Cast Member who said if the Disney PhotoPass+ One Week was not automatically linked to your account, you can go to Newsstand near the front of Disneyland Park for assistance. You can also call the Disney PhotoPass Guest Support Line for additional support. Disney PhotoPass+ One Week is usually activated once your first PhotoPass picture is linked to your Disneyland mobile app. If there is no watermark on your first photo, then you should be good to go! If there is a watermark on it, I recommend giving it a few hours to see if it gets removed before seeking assistance from a Cast Member.

Once in the parks, attraction photos can be connected to your account by entering the 8-character Photo ID found at the attraction photo preview wall by selecting "Link Attraction Photo" under "Link Photos" on the Disneyland app. I usually snap a quick picture of the code with my phone and add it to my account later. For special family photos taken by a Disney PhotoPass Photographer, select "Show PhotoPass Code" to share the code with the Photographer. My family always gets a photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and near the entrance of Cars Land!

Carrie, I hope you have a wonderful trip to Disneyland Resort! We would love for you to contact planDisney again if you have other questions!

    Wishing you a Wonderous Journey!
