Hello, Jaci,
I’m excited for you to enjoy magical times at the Disneyland Resort. I feel like one of the reasons the Disneyland Resort is known as The Happiest Place on Earth is that it is so welcoming and
accommodating to Guests of various interests and needs.
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) is one of the major ways the Disneyland Resort works to accommodate the individual needs of Guests. Guests who are unable to wait in a traditional queue due to a disability may
register for this helpful service. Eligibility for DAS is determined on an individual basis either during a
pre-arrival video chat, which may be held between 2 and 30 days before a park visit, or at a brief on-site registration at City Hall on
Main Street, U.S.A., Chamber of Commerce on
Buena Vista Street, or at
another Guest Information location. The Guest requiring DAS must be in attendance at the registration. The Cast Member registering the Guest for DAS will ask a few questions to make an individualized determination of the best accommodations to meet the Guest’s needs while visiting the Disneyland Resort.
Tony’s Tip: Your Disneyland Resort account will be a useful key to accessing the Disability Access Service. It is required for pre-arrival registration and
DAS Advance planning for pre-scheduling return times for
select attractions. Your Disneyland Resort account is also required for accessing the DAS return time self-selection tool in the
Disneyland mobile app. The DAS button will show up on the “More” screen of the Disneyland app after you have finished the DAS registration process.
I hope you have a most magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Jaci. If you have any more questions for us here at planDisney, we’d love to hear from you again.
~Tony
