Hello there Partha! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question.
You are ahead of the game Partha! You are correct that you will need a valid
theme park ticket and a corresponding
theme park reservation to enter the parks. Usually, you can make your theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance. It looks like the
theme park reservation availability calendar currently goes up to December 27 as I'm writing this, so hopefully in the next week it will extend out to your arrival dates so you can secure your reservations!
It looks like you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort during
Holiday Time! It is very wise to make your theme park reservations in advance now as it's one of the busier times to visit the parks, and you'll also want to make your
dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. We love to do a combination of both quick service meals when we're on the go to our next attraction, as well as a table service meal at a place such as
Lamplight Lounge in
Disney California Adventure Park when we want to take a break for a nice dinner.
I would also keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as they'll share everything that Guests should know about Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort including the foodie guide and entertainment throughout the entire season. We love to taste our way through the different cultures and holiday celebrations at the
Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park, there are so many delicious dishes to try!
I hope this information is helpful for you Partha and you're able to secure your reservations soon. If we can help with any other questions leading up to your trip, please feel free to
come back and ask!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
