Hello Kayla and welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by to ask this great question about dining at the Happiest Place on Earth. I love where your head is at - food at Disneyland is usually where my head is at too!
To search dining locations in Disneyland where reservations are accepted, scroll the options on the
Disneyland website. Select a restaurant individually that interests you to see the times available or click on the blue "Check All Availability" button to log into your account and confirm party size and date. I prefer to make dining reservations through the
Disneyland app by selecting "Dining" from the drop down on the park map and exploring around. This way I can easily see where the dining location is within the park and if it makes sense based on my plans for that particular day.
Advance dining reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 60 days prior to your visit. Since you're already within that window, Kayla, there may be limited availability for some of the more popular locations, like Blue Bayou. But I did a
quick search for your particular date and see plenty of availability at
Carnation Cafe (Mickey-shaped Waffles!) and limited availability at one of my favorite dining locations -
Cafe Orleans.
If you didn't snag the dining reservation you had your heart set on, there is still hope, Kayla! Keep checking - even up to 24 hours before, or the morning of, because spots do become available!
I'll let you in on a little secret though, Kayla, you don't have to have dining reservations at Disneyland to enjoy incredible eats and sweets! Where Disneyland really shines, I think, is in the quick service and mobile ordering from the
Disneyland app. I might have maybe one sit-down meal on any given day, and the rest of the time I'm snacking my way around the park. There's so much to try! My go-to snack right now in Disneyland Park is the
Cream Cheese-filled Pretzel at Refreshment Corner on Main Street. This little warm treat is delicious and has a touch of unexpected sweetness. So good!
My family also loves the
Plaza Inn on Main Street (no reservations needed!) because there's something for everyone, it's nostalgic (Walt Disney himself dined here!), it's got plenty of seating (views of Sleeping Beauty Castle!), and the food just feels good in your tummy - especially the Fried Chicken Platter. I dream about this meal. It's quintessential Disneyland, in my opinion, and definitely sharable!
Now I've got a rumbly in my tumbly. But good thing your magical day is coming up soon, Kayla. Go enjoy!
Cheers,
McCayla
