Hi, I have bought my Disney world park tickets for a trip in November. Is it too early to link to my magic band.

Welcome to planDisney, Terri! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. With your trip coming up in just a few months, it's a great time to start thinking about some of the finer details, so I'm happy to chat with you about Disney Bands and how to get yours set up and ready to go!

If you already have a Disney Band linked to your My Disney Experience account and your park tickets are linked to the same account, there's nothing else you need to do. You don't "load" tickets onto a Disney Band; just think of it like a key that simply points to your account. As long as your tickets live in that account, your Disney Band can already access them for park entry, Lightning Lanes, and anything else you need them for.

If your tickets aren't linked yet, it's definitely not too soon. Go ahead and link them now so you can relax before your trip! Here's the quick path in the app: tap the main menu in the bottom right corner, select "Tickets & Passes," then tap the + button in the top right corner. The option to "Link Tickets & Passes" will pop up, and you can select that and follow the directions on the screen. After you've done that, you'll see the tickets appear under "Tickets & Passes," and any active Disney Bands associated with you will work automatically at the tap points.

To double-check that your Disney Band is linked properly, check in the app to make sure that it's listed as active. If you have more than one, all active bands linked to your profile will work interchangeably, so you can bring a few if you've got them! Prefer a backup? You can also set up Disney MagicMobile in your phone's wallet, or pick up a physical ticket card at Guest Relations.

I hope this answers your question, Terri, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical location!
