Hello I bought our disney tickets from a travel agent and now are trying to connect them to the disney mobile app and it seems not to be working can you help me?

Hey Howdy Hey Bradley and welcome to planDisney!

Super exciting that you will be visiting us here in the Most Magical Place on Earth real soon! Thank you for this question as using the My Disney Experience app at times can be a little particular about its usage. I have my fair share of experience with it and am happy to guide you through some options that hopefully will help.

First off, your My Disney Experience app is where you will be using most of the functions while you are in the resort. Everything from unlocking your room, mobile ordering food and utilizing your MagicMobile Pass can be done with the app. My experiences with the planning, however, are that some things like linking tickets and reservations are more consistently carried out on your My Disney Experience account online. If you are having difficulty linking the tickets to your app, I would try to do this first through your online account. As long as you are able to do it there, the app will catch up in time. If you are having issues linking the tickets to either the app or online account, I would make sure to communicate this with your travel agent, because they will be able to get in touch with Disney and figure things out for you! Another great perk of using a travel agent!

Now, if you are able to link everything to your online account but the app continues to not cooperate, you might need to fully log out and restart the app. Make sure you not only log out of it but close it down as well to fully restart it. Sometimes this is all you need to do but sometimes this is not the trick. The last tip I have for you is to uninstall and reinstall the app on your smart device. This should completely erase and update anything that was an issue with your app. If you have everything linked to your online account and your app still is not working, this may be something you would need to get in contact with Disney yourself as it is particular with your smart device. You should be able to get a hold of them with the chat feature on the Help Center page or by calling Disney at (407) 939-4357 and a Cast Member will help get this resolved for you.

Good luck in getting things figured out and I hope you have fun continuing the planning of your Magical vacation coming up soon. Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
