Hi Megan,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your trip is so close, can you feel the magic?
Megan, they might be receiving the error message because the tickets are already linked to your account with the confirmation number or ticket numbers. Usually, you aren’t able to add the confirmation or ticket number to multiple accounts, instead you share your plans with those guests.
So, instead of adding the tickets by entering the ticket codes, I suggest that you use
Disney MagicMobile Service! This is a simple way to add your family’s tickets to their mobile devices so they can scan in on their own.
Once you confirm that everyone’s ticket is in your
My Disney Experience mobile app, select the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner and select the box titled “Disney MagicMobile”. On the next screen, select the “+” button and then create a pass for each individual in your party. Once that step is complete, you can send the passes to each person’s digital wallet! From there, each guest will be able to scan into the Mickey turnstiles on their own. Disney MagicMobile Service is also useful for
Disney Genie+ and scanning into
Lightning Lanes as well.
Since your trip is coming up soon, I want to make sure that you’ve already booked your
Theme Park Reservations for each day. Remember, a ticket plus Theme Park Reservation is needed for each member of your party to enter the Park.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” helps for your upcoming holiday. If you have any last minute questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
