Hi there, Lisa, and welcome to planDisney!
I love that you’re including a fan-favorite character dining spot and a visit to the quintessential Magic Kingdom Park in your itinerary. You’re going to make so many core memories on this visit, Lisa. I have good news for you ahead, so let’s get into it.
The physical
Disney Gift Cards that you gathered up in Canada can indeed be used at most locations at Walt Disney World Resort (and beyond!). More specifically, yes, you may use them at
Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and at Magic Kingdom Park. There are very few places around property where you can’t use a Disney Gift Card; for example, there are some separately owned boutiques at Disney Springs where even a smiling Mickey Mouse on plastic won’t work at the register.
Also, your purchases at Walt Disney World Resort will be automatically subject to currency exchange rates. If you also purchased electronic Disney Gift Cards online in U.S. Dollars, then those will not be subject to exchange rates.
AN EXTRA GEM: Did you know that you can use your Disney Gift Card to order food via the
My Disney Experience App? Although you can’t save the card’s information in the app, you can add the card’s information during Mobile Order checkout. I like to save the information in my phone’s Notes app for an easy copy and paste.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming visit, Lisa.
Here at planDisney, my friends and I will be more than happy to share our tips and tricks with you. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
