Hiya, Allison! I, too, like to use
Disney gift cards when we visit. Doing so definitely helps me stay on top of the budget I've allocated for our vacation.
Using the gift cards you've purchased will be super simple, whether your purchases are made at restaurants or in a merchandise location. For table service locations that accept Disney gift cards as valid forms of payment, you'll just present the gift card at the close of your meal when the server brings your bill, just like you would if you were using a credit card to pay. Most
quick service and
fast casual locations, too, will also accept a Disney gift card for payment. You'll just present the card when it's time to pay and funds will be deducted. I would recommend always confirming that the location you've chosen does accept a Disney gift card prior to placing your order.
Have you heard of the
Mobile Ordering service offered at Walt Disney World? It's a great way to pay for and pick up food at
many locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. You can even use those Disney gift cards to pay!
It looks as though you'll be vacationing during the
Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. You're in for such a treat! Not only will you get to see some beautiful
topiaries, but the
Outdoor Kitchens offer some tasty bites and sips that are the perfect excuse to indulge a little. Most of these locations, too, accept Disney gift cards.
Have a great time, Allison!
