I bought a Disney Dining Plan. If I want to watch a dinner show (table service) and choose the category 2 or 3 seating that is allowed, do I have to pay extra for the show?

Hi Aileen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You have three choices when it comes to Dinner Shows on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation: Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Just thinking about these fun and delicious outings is making me hungry!

When using the Disney Dining Plan, you will have the choice of Category 2 or 3 seating at all Dinner Shows with one exception - the 8:30 p.m. show for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue offers Category 1 seating (all seating options are subject to availability, of course). You will need to make Advance Dining Reservations for any Dinner Shows you would like to experience, as early as 180 days prior to the check-in date of your Disney Resort hotel reservation. The earlier you book, the more options you will have for seating.

With the Disney Dining Plan, you will redeem two Table-Service meal entitlements per person for Dinner Shows, so keep that in mind when planning your Advance Dining Reservations.

I hope this helps you plan ahead for your upcoming vacation, Aileen! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have and happy eating!
