    If I bought a dessert from a bakery in one of the parks, would there be any chance a cast member could stick a birthday candle in it for my son? We don't want a huge celebration, just a chance for him to blow out candles on his special day.

    Hi Elizabeth! Thanks for stopping by with your question about your son's upcoming birthday at Walt Disney World. I can't think of a better place to celebrate such a special day!

    I'm happy to tell you that Disney's table-service restaurants are able to give Guests birthday candles upon request. Take a minute to check out the many table service options on the Disney Dining page of the Walt Disney World website. If you decide to make a reservation, please keep in mind that the sooner you do so, the better your chances will be of finding availability at just the perfect place. I love your idea of a small celebration! There are so many magical ways to customize  any celebration--small or large--so be sure to explore all of the magical ways Disney can make your son's birthday one to remember forever! No matter what, be sure to ask any Cast Member or stop by Guest Relations for a Birthday Celebration Button for your son. This is such a fun way to let everyone know it is his special day!
