hi, we bought the ddp. Plan on qs for lunch & dinner for other meal. Any suggestions on how to do bkfst? We will pbly do 1 or 2 am buffet w/characters. do we purchase breakfast ourselves? Any suggestions would help. THANKS

    Hi Davia!

My suggestion for making  the most of your dining plan is to do exactly as you plan. Use your counter service credit for lunch, your table service for dinner and pay out of pocket or use your snack credit for breakfast. Breakfast is usually the least expensive table service meal of the day, so in most cases it doesn't make sense to use one of your dining plan credits on breakfast.

To save money you could eat a quick breakfast in your hotel room before starting the day. If you are driving or will have access to a car, you could buy some things to keep in your room. You could also consider a service like www.gardengrocer.com who will delivery groceries to your resort. This is a convenient service for bottled water, breakfast items and snacks.

Your snack credits can be used to purchase pieces of fresh fruit, muffins, danishes and other pastries. This is a good option if you want something quick for breakfast.

If you plan to pay out of pocket for your breakfast just let your server know that you won't be using your meal plan for that meal and you can pay with cash, credit card or charge it to your room account.

I hope this helps and gave you a few ideas for breakfast. Have a great vacation!
