I bought 4 days park tickets with a disney resort vacation package, can I upgrade it for 5 days in the hotel or Water Park tickets? And with this 4 day parks tickets we can go parks to parks the same day?

    Hi Fanny,

I'm sending you a virtual high five because, like you, I often find myself trying to maximize the amount of time I can get in the Walt Disney World theme parks!

After reading your question, it looks like your vacation is coming up in the next couple of days. (LUCKY!!)

If you're planning to stay at one of the Walt Disney World resort hotels, then I would suggest for you to swing by the concierge desk in the lobby and ask if they can help you upgrade your tickets. (It should be no problem at all.)

Alternatively, you can take care of the upgrade at the ticket windows near the entrances to the theme parks or at the Guest Relations desk in the Downtown Disney Marketplace (right around the corner from one of my favorite hangouts - The Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop!).

Also, it sounds like you might be interested in visiting more than one theme park each day. (I plan my family's itinerary around where we're eating, so we usually end up bouncing around between the theme parks each day). To do that, make sure you've selected the Park Hopper option for your tickets. If you didn't select that option when you originally booked your vacation package, don't worry because you can take care of that when you upgrade your tickets to add the extra day.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

Hopping around between the theme parks is no sweat once you get the hang of it. However, if you're not sure about the best route to take, don't hesitate to ask a cast member for directions. In many cases, there may be more than one way to make the trip you're trying to make, so they can help you figure out the quickest and easiest route.

I hope that helps and I hope you have an awesome vacation!

    Best regards,
    Derek
