Hi there, Rita,
I’m so glad you have been enjoying your time at the Disneyland Resort. It really is The Happiest Place on Earth, isn’t it?
According to the
Disney eTicket terms and conditions, once a ticket has been activated, it may not be transferred to a different Guest. You can, however, make modifications to existing
theme park reservations. From the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page, you may change a park reservation to another
available date that is still within the period of validity for a ticket.
If there is another date that your party can still attend together, you may change all of your reservations to then. Or it is also OK to modify the park reservations of only some of the tickets. During the modification process, the system will prompt you to choose which tickets to include in the change. Note that for a standard multi-day theme park ticket, the available ticket days must be used within 13 days after the first day of use or by the expiration date indicated in the ticket purchase confirmation, whichever comes first.
Tony’s Tip: If you do end up changing a park reservation for only one or a few tickets, you may end up with a situation where the Guest whose account was used to purchase the tickets isn’t attending with one of the portions of the original party. In such a case, you may wish to link the tickets to the account of someone in that group. To link a ticket to a different account, open the
Disneyland mobile app Tickets and Passes screen of both accounts and use the “Link Tickets & Passes” button from the second account to scan the barcode of a ticket from the first account. Or the ticket ID number can be entered manually if the two phones are not near each other to scan the barcode. If the “Link Tickets & Passes” button isn’t showing on the Tickets and Passes screen, tap the ‘+’ in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
I hope you enjoy your time at the Disneyland Resort, Rita. We’d be happy to share more tips and advice. Feel free to visit us here at planDisney any time!
