Welcome to planDisney, Darlene! Thanks for sharing your question with us!
It sounds like you have an awesome Walt Disney World vacation in the works for this fall. You’ll be strolling down Main Street U.S.A. at the Magic Kingdom and exploring all the other amazing theme parks, water parks, and shopping and dining options before you know it!
Whether you need to make theme park reservations depends on what type of ticket you’ve purchased. Theme park reservations are no longer required for date-based tickets, which are the standard ticket type, so you’re likely good to go. Theme park reservations are needed if you have student group tickets, sports or convention tickets, Disney Military Salute tickets, or an annual pass. You can find more information about making theme park reservations
here.
As you prepare for your upcoming vacation, make sure you visit the
Disney Parks Blog for a preview of the special seasonal events awaiting you at Walt Disney World. All sorts of Halloween-themed offerings will be taking place across the resort, like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and you won’t want to miss the delicious
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. In my opinion, it’s one of the best times to visit Walt Disney World.
I hope this info helps with your vacation planning, Darlene. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
