Hi Stephanie! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
You're going to have the best time at Disneyland Resort, and I think you'll find the current Genie+ and soon-to-be
Lightning Lane Multi Pass option enhances your experience of the parks. It's an option my family always selects because we really appreciate spending less time in queues on our trips together. Time is precious!
I often purchase this option the day of, and it sounds like that's what you're also planning on doing. When you buy this option after scanning into the parks for the day, you select which tickets in your party you'd like to add the option to. Select everyone in your group if you all want to take advantage of booking Lightning Lane Entrance return times together. But it's just for the day. So, if you'd only like to purchase two out of the three days of your trip, you just won't tap the Genie+ "Purchase" button you should see toward the top of the homepage of the
Disneyland mobile app on the day you don't feel like you need it. There's no option to add multiple days of Genie+ unless you're pre-purchasing the option. With pre-purchase, it applies to the entire length of the tickets. I hope that's good news!
Please be aware that the price you see on the app today won't necessarily be the price every day of your visit. The day's purchase price is clearly displayed on the banner above the purchase button. It is subject to change. Also, this is a popular option that occasionally sells out as the day goes on. Arrive early and purchase as soon as you've scanned into the parks to lessen the chance it will be gone. Arriving early in the day will also allow you to get the most out of your Lightning Lane Entrance selections. You can conveniently pay for your purchase with credit, debit, or
Disney Gift Card.
A lot of Guests come with Disney Gift Cards to spend on dining and merchandise. On our most recent trip, I paid for our Genie+ selection each day with a couple of electronic Disney Gift Cards. Unfortunately, you can't save a Disney Gift Card as a method of payment in the app. Instead, save the number on the card to your Notes app on your mobile device and copy and paste it during the transaction into the app.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
