Hey there, Karla! Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question.
I have encountered the very same scenario with tickets so I’d be glad to shed some light on the situation! You can most certainly link your eTickets to your
Disneyland app now and the barcode will be the same on the paper tickets you receive when you exchange your vouchers at the park gates. I have done this on many occasions and there have never been any hiccups. You will want to add a name to each ticket as you link it to the app, though, as you can’t easily add it later. Then you’ll want to mark down which voucher belongs to which member of your party so your paper tickets match up with the tickets you’ve named in the app.
If you didn’t add
Disney MaxPass when you purchased your tickets online, you will have to wait to purchase it until you are in the parks. Once your ticket is scanned at the gate, bring up the Disneyland app and tap “Get FASTPASS with Disney MaxPass.” The first step will be to create a FASTPASS party and since your tickets will be linked to the app ahead of time, all the members of your party should automatically populate. If you need to add or delete anyone, you are still able to do so at this step. You will then be walked through the purchasing process. It will only take you a minute or two, but you will need to repeat this process each day of your trip.
I hope this clarifies things for you. See ya real soon!
