Hi! We bought 2 day tickets for our family before the COVID closure, exp date: 1/12/2022. We cancelled our trip because of the shut down. We are now able to plan a trip for Aug 26 and 27th. Can we please use these tickets? Thank you!!

    Hi Deborah, welcome to planDisney!

I'm so sorry you had to cancel your Disney trip due to the shutdown! A lot of Guests, including myself, were in the same boat, so I totally understand what you're going through. But I have great news! Even though your tickets are expired, you still have options! Per Disney's eTicket Terms & Conditions, any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park tickets (except for special event tickets or tickets purchased from a third party), can be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket in equal or greater value to what was paid for the original ticket. Just visit the Cast Members at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booths, and they can certainly help! But seeing that you're out of state, you can also try calling the Disneyland Resort Ticket Line at 714-781-4636 and see if the amazing Cast Members there can help!

Also, based on your question, I'm guessing you haven't visited the Disneyland Resort in a good amount of time. I do want to mention a new service that has debuted, the Disney Genie+ service. This is an add-on to your tickets, and it allows you to skip the standby lines for most attractions using the Lightning Lane entrances. The cost is currently $20 per day per ticket (prices subject to change). I have two little kiddos, so any time savings we can get from waiting in line is worth it to us. I personally am a big fan, and highly recommend Genie+!

If you have any other questions at all, please visit us again, we're happy to help!

    See ya real soon!
