Hey there, hi there, ho there Victoria! You're as welcome as can be at planDisney! Thanks for visiting us with your Walt Disney World park ticket question. Sounds like you are going to wrap up this year with a pixie-dusted bang... how exciting!
As you may be aware, New Years Eve at Magic Kingdom will be a hugely popular place to be. To help manage this demand, it appears this park is no longer available on December 31 for new
theme park reservations, or to purchase a single day park ticket.
However, if you've got dated park tickets that are valid on December 31 - yes! You will be able to use one of your ticket days in Magic Kingdom that day. Woo hoo! That being said, it is always subject to park capacity... and Magic Kingdom will likely reach full capacity on that date. So I highly recommend that you arrive as early in the day as possible. This will allow you to enter the park before they reach maximum capacity, and have to start turning guests away.
If you would like to enjoy eating at a table service
restaurant inside the park that day, you should definitely make a reservation as soon as your eligibility window opens up. Since it will be a long, magical day this may be a good opportunity to have a calm sit-down break at some point. You can log on starting at 6 AM ET to make
advance dining reservations, starting 60 days prior to your arrival date.
Victoria, I hope this helps and that you are able to enjoy a wonderful experience at Magic Kingdom on New Years Eve. If you have any additional questions, please send them to us at
planDisney. We love assisting guests!
Magical Memories Await,
Tami
