Welcome to planDisney, Melinda!
It is a pleasure to answer your first question and help you as you make changes to your Disney vacation plans.
Although
theme park tickets are non-refundable, I recommend contacting the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 566-4985 to talk about ticket options and possible modifications. I do not know under which terms and conditions you bought your tickets, but due to the pandemic and the cancellation of a special event last year, I was able to apply the amount I had originally paid towards the purchase of a different ticket type. I ended up adding Park Hopper Plus option to theme park admission. In case you purchased your tickets from a third party, you will have to contact them directly to discuss options.
There are different ticket add-on options you can consider, like Water Parks and Sports, Park Hopper, and Park Hopper Plus. What I like about sprinkling extra pixie-dust to tickets is having the chance to explore more than one theme park per day and taking a break from the heat at a water park. As you prepare for your visit, remember to make
Disney Park Pass reservations and check the
Know Before You Go page for Walt Disney World Resort operation updates.
planDisney tip:
Disney MagicMobile service is now available for iPhone and Apple Watch users (coming soon to other smart devices). To enter a theme park or water park, you will be able to simply hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near an access point just as you would do while using a MagicBand or ticket card. After
linking valid admission to your Disney account, use the
My Disney Experience app to create a MagicMobile pass, add it to your Apple Wallet, and you will be ready to go!
I hope this information is helpful, Melinda! Come back to visit us soon for more tips and advice, we are delighted to help.
