Hiya, Paula! Thanks so much for swinging by planDisney with your question. I’m sorry to hEAR one of your family members can no longer join you for the adventure, but happy to hEAR you may be able to bring another family member along for the ride.
Paula,
an unused ticket can be transferred to someone else’s name - in other words, as long as none of the three days on that ticket have been used, it can be transferred to someone else. My suggestion is to
contact Ticket Services in advance if you have time to do so – you can reach them
via phone or using the “Chat with Us” feature in the
Disneyland mobile app. But, since your trip is coming up quickly, if you don’t have time to take care of this before your arrival, just pop by the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth when you get there, and a friendly Cast Member can help you with the update.
Paula, if I may offer another tip, in case you haven’t heard about
Disney Genie+, it’s a service my family and I really enjoy during our trips to maximize how much we experience in a single day. If you don’t have it yet, you can add it to your ticket after you have entered the theme parks, using the Disneyland mobile app. Disney Genie+ gives you the ability to leverage
Lightning Lanes for most major attractions, which means you get through the queues far more quickly. It’s a magic carpet ride worth taking, in my humble opinion!
Have a magical visit and please come back and see us if you have any more questions!
