I bought a 1 day ticket to Disneyland & then the next day I bought another 1 day ticket to California adventure. Would it be possible for me to get the 2 day deal instead even after I already paid?

    Hey, howdy, hey, Laura!

Yeehaw! More days at The Happiest Place on Earth sounds like a rootin', tootin' time to me. I’m happy to share some thoughts about how you can maximize the magic of your tickets.

A valid theme park ticket may be upgraded to a new ticket of equal or greater value or to an available Magic Key pass. Whether upgrading to a Magic Key pass or to a different ticket, the value of only one ticket may be applied toward the price of one new pass or ticket. If you would like to maximize the value of the tickets you have purchased, you might consider upgrading one of them to a multi-day ticket and saving the other ticket for another visit later.

To upgrade a theme park ticket, you may stop by the main entrance ticket booths of the Disneyland Resort. Or you may reach out to a Cast Member by calling the Tickets phone line or by tapping the “Chat with Us” tile found in the ☰ feature menu of the Disneyland mobile app.

You can check the ticket purchase confirmation email for the expiration date of your tickets. The one-day tickets I recently purchased are valid until December 30, 2024. So I could potentially cancel the park reservations linked to our tickets and re-book new reservations with them for another date, up until the expiration date.

In some cases, it may also be possible to upgrade a standard, non-event ticket that has expired. As long as the expired ticket is wholly unused, the value originally paid for the ticket may be applied toward the purchase price of a new theme park ticket. Again, that can usually be done at a ticket booth, over the phone, or on an online chat.

Tony’s Tip: If you happen to live within the Southern California ZIP codes 90000-93599 or Northern Baja California postal codes 21000-22999, you would also be eligible for savings with the Southern California resident weekday ticket. One nice thing about this ticket is that the three days of the ticket may be used on any three available weekdays until May 25, 2023.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Laura!
