Welcome back to planDisney, Maureen! I can see your visit to the
Disneyland Resort is just around the corner. I am happy to help you get the last few details in order.
Unfortunately, it isn't possible to
upgrade only one or two days of a
5-day, one-park-per-day ticket to a Park Hopper ticket. You would either need to upgrade the entire ticket to a Park Hopper in order to experience Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. If you would like to do so, you can either chat with a Cast Member on the Disneyland website, or
call the Disneyland Tickets line. I would recommend doing so before you arrive so you can start your Disneyland visit with ease.
If you are looking to get the most magic out of your theme park visit, I would also recommend purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass. You can ask the Cast Member about the add-on when you upgrade your tickets or you can purchase it in the Disneyland app after entering the park. Lightning Lane allows you to reserve return times for specific attractions, which is a great way to enjoy more attractions with shorter waits. Also, you do not need to add Lightning Lane Multi Pass for each day of your visit; instead you can choose the days that make the most sense for your itinerary.
I have one more tip for you! Be sure to take at least one night to watch the dazzling Paint the Night parade. This parade has delighted guests since its return last year and you will not want to miss it on your visit. My favorite viewing location is directly across from the entrance to "it's a small world." From this one area, you can not only view the Paint the Night Parade, but you’ll also be in a prime viewing location to catch Wondrous Journeys and Tapestry of Happiness as well. I can’t think of a better way to end a Disney day.
